Interview on BBC World News about massive Chinese shoe factory strike

On April 15, 2014, a day after a Dongguan shoe factory strike began that would continue ont April 28 and involve about 40,000 worker, BBC World News interviewed me about the event.

I am a researcher and rights advocate with attention towards social justice, social movements, labor, China, and U.S. foreign policy. Previously, I served as program coordinator at China Labor Watch, a labor rights watchdog group. In 2012, I did a year of fieldwork in China on the rights defense of manufacturing workers.
